As I'm sure you've all noticed, I'm on a bit of a nautical kick lately. Another trend you may have realized is my obsession with all things anthropologie. So when I found these lovely plates I just had to share them. Aren't they just divine? Someday I'll have an expendable income which I can devote to my anthropologie dreams...someday.

Beard Revue

Call me crazy but I just absolutely love facial hair of all varieties. I stumbled upon this awesome blog that focuses solely on just that and I have to admit that I am very amused by this discovery. If you share my love of beards, I recommend you check it out!

Hand Fans

Check out these amazing hand fans spotted over on design sponge! There have been many times in the recent heat wave of central Ohio that I have wished I had some sort of fan...these beauties would have really come in handy!

This ring is hilarious. It would be kind of hard to not smile when looking at it. The Harbinger Co. is a really cool site with some beautiful and fun jewelry!

Nautical

Two things you may have realized by now: I love anthropologie and sail boats. When I came upon this wonderful top in the sale room last week while on an impulse visit to anthropologie, I about jumped for joy. Not only is it fantastic, but it was on sale too!!! I am now on the lookout for the perfect shorts to pair with it. The quest continues.

The fruits of my day

I finally got around to making that terrarium, thanks to Elizabeth's fabulous suggestion to do so today! We both had these lovely glass containers that were just begging to be filled with little plants. Our quest began with tracking down some cute pint sized plants to fit in our glasses. We found some irish moss and asparagus ferns that were just perfect for the job. We also cultivated some moss out of the back yard and used some river rocks collected during summers in montana! All in all I'd say it was an absolute success and I'm already dreaming up my next creation!

P.S.

I couldn't resist buying another basil plant at the garden center and the left-over irish moss found a new home too!
