Reason No. 6

I'm kind of seriously in love with these leggings. I'd say these cuties are one more reason to be excited about cold weather. To buy or not to buy...hmmmm. I already have the boots to wear with them.

Wearable Planter

So this is awesome. It appears to be slightly impractical though, I feel like I would be spilling it and losing plants all over the place. I still kind of want one.

Old Stuff is Neat

I got the truck from an antique shop that I walked past each day for 4 years in Delaware, OH where I went to school. I visited last week and found some really neat stuff! Now I just have to wait until June to give it to the BF for his birthday...we'll see how long I hold out.

Old Cameras are Neat

I've always loved old film cameras, they're so much more fascinating than all these new fancy things we call cameras today. This mamiya still works beautifully with 120 film. I love how the world looks through the almost feels fantasy like.

Playing Around

Very seldom do I use photoshop for anything but adjusting light and shadows and "sharpening" up the image. To be honest, I don't know half of the things for which photoshop can be used. But I was feeling adventurous today and played around with a few pictures I've taken in the past few days with my iPod. Not really my style, but kinda neat.

The Line-Up

I have always been surrounded by books, my mom read to me what I was little, and ever since I can remember I have seen my parents read. It was a natural thing in our family, not something that needed forced and once I found my niche in the written world, there's been no turning back. Here are a few of the books in the line-up.

- All my friends are dead. - I originally bought this as a gift but decided it was too hilarious to give away.
- Shutter Island - A fascinating story. I saw the movie and I am really looking forward to reading the book.
- Three Cups of Tea - This book was given to me by one of the customers at the coffee shop where I work with hopes of spreading the inspiration. I am still touched by his generosity.
- Journal of the Gun Years - I love westerns, I'm hoping this is awesome.
- The River Why - Suggested to me by my brother, I trust his judgement.
- The Color of Magic - Another suggestion by the brother.
- The Light Fantastic - See above.
- Travels with Charley - I am currently reading this and enjoying it greatly. Its making me want to go on an epic road trip with the dog though.
- What Dreams May Come - not pictured, truly one of the greatest books I have ever read. It really makes you think.

It snowed yesterday...I was ecstatic. I got to pretty much be snowed in all day, drink some coffee, make cheesecake for my man and go on snow adventures with the dog, it was fantastic!

Too Cute

My kitchen would be a much cuter place with these guys in them. I mean, you gotta look good in the kitchen, I'd say that apron does the trick. You'll be surprised to hear that these are all from the Anthropologie sale site.

These Are Things

I would love to have anything from the team over at These Are Things. We all know how much I love maps, so head on over to their site and check them out! I love their use of colors, I foresee a purchase of one of these in the near future.

Silverfish Aquarium

This. Is. Amazing!! It is a 60 gallon tank with 6 separate "rooms" for your fish. I want it, quite badly. Some day.

Eat More Cheese

Seriously, eat more cheese. This is the best piece of advice ever. I would put this in every room if I wouldn't come off as a crazy person.

Welcome to the Future

It's the future...we're in the future now. According to Back to the Future (which is celebrating it's 25th anniversary), in the year 2015 we're going to have hover cars and skateboards, among other futuristic things. Well world, we better get moving if we're going to live up to the expectations. Wishing you all a happy new year!
