Ideal Workspace

Now that is one fantastic desk. Designed by a graduate of the Design Academy of Eindhoven. What a nice alternative to an office cubical.

Stitched With Love

These darling little guys were made lovingly for me by the BF's awesome mom. Kim and I have formed a wonderful friendship over the past few years that Kyle and I have been dating. She is one crafty lady and can knit and sew just about anything! The pictures don't really do them justice and I'm not sure if you can tell, but there are hearts knit down the front. My only complaint is that its almost too warm to wear them!

I'm sure that if any of you had read previous posts, it's quite obvious that I like plants and trees and those sorts of awesome things. So it should be no surprise that I would be posting a picture of my newest plant...huh, that sounds really funny in writing. Anyways, I do indeed love plants, they are beautiful and fill a room with life. I grew up with a mother who always, ALWAYS had plants in every room, even the bathroom! I got this little guy at the conservatory gift shop...which is awesome by the way. I think it's a freaking adorable little plant, and I am not ashamed to say that I was very excited when I found it and decided that I must have it.

My awesome friend Erin and I went to the Franklin Park Conservatory this week and let me tell you, it was SO cool! For someone who absolutely adores plants (me!) this was the place to go. Wouldn't this be a lovely place to get married?

This peanut butter and jam wallet from ModCloth is hilarious. Can you imagine busting it out to pay for something?! I don't know if I could keep a strait face.

Back From The Dark Side

I'm back...from a serious case of the stomach flu and a whirlwind weekend with the BF at a cabin with 5 other couples. Kyle and I were lucky enough to be totally knocked on our backsides by a very unpleasant bug that pretty much laid us up for 4 days. With little time to recover from that, the two of us spent the weekend with our friends at a cabin in southern Ohio. Copious amounts of hot tubbing and shenanigans took place along with a lovely hike in Hocking Hills. It was the most beautiful weekend, with sunny skies and temperatures in the 40's. So needless to say, while the tale end of my week was an enjoyable one, I am ridiculously tired.
