In My Dreams

I was shopping today with a friend and insisted on stopping into Anthropologie to dream. We were strolling around, and one of the lovely sales associates stopped me and told me she had "just the dress for me." I was a bit surprised and taken aback, and I have to admit, my response to her was "is it on sale?" To which she laughed and said just take it as inspiration. So I shrugged and followed her to the dressing rooms to try it on. Well let me tell you, I am inspired...to want that dress!!! Isn't it lovely? I adore the color. Sadly it is much too far out of my price range...sigh.

Yellow Submarine

This little tea infuser is just super cute! I've recently formed a taste and appreciation for tea; there's nothing quite as refreshing as an ice cold tea in summer or more warming than a mug of hot tea in winter. This cute little sub may have to become part of my tea family sometime soon! Enjoy :)

Puppy Fever

So my mom sent me this email today titled "Can I lick the Bowl?" We are dog people, my parents used to breed labs before they had us kids and as you have seen in earlier posts, we have a fantastic yellow lab named Emma. Anyways, I'm experiencing some serious puppy fever. I'm kind of off the baby wagon and just sticking to cute, fuzzy puppies! They're so CUTE!

Tree Trunks

I would like to live in this little cabin...it's so fantastic and "woodsy!" I'm still a kid at heart and dream of having a tree house someday.

Awesome

Ok, these are totally awesome. I want them...now. I have recently discovered my new found love for awesome tights. These tights are pretty freakin' fantastic.

Moving On

Well, with much relief the holidays are officially over. While I don't particularly hate them, I'm always a little relieved when they pack up their bags and go. However...I absolutely love our christmas tree, or really any christmas tree for that matter. I love the pretty little lights and the stories behind all the ornaments. I could leave it up year round, but thats just a little silly.
My dad's side of the family, all fantastically german, brought the wonderful tradition of using bubble lights on our tree. They used to be very hard to find when a bulb ran out and needed replaced, but they seem to be making a come back. They are beautiful and simple, and our tree would not be right without them. I love them! Hope you have all enjoyed the holidays and are getting back into the swing of things without too much trouble!
